Profile Information

For Vendors: Business description and category, product/service descriptions, images and logos, customer service policies, and return and refund policies.
For Customers: Profile picture (optional), wishlist preferences, and saved payment methods.

Transaction Information

For Vendors: Order details and history, payment information (processed securely by third-party payment processors), shipping and delivery information, refund and chargeback details, and customer communications and disputes.
For Customers: Purchase history and order details, payment information (processed securely by third-party payment processors), shipping and delivery information, and refund requests.

Vendors receive from Customers: Order information including customer name, shipping address, contact email, phone number, and order details necessary to fulfill the order.

Customers receive from Vendors: Business name, contact information for customer service, and product information. Customers do NOT receive vendor's sensitive business information such as bank account details or financial records.

4.3 Business Transfers

If Shukify is involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, similar transaction or proceeding, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:

8. DATA RETENTION

8.1 Retention Periods

  • Transaction Information: Retained for 7 years (required for tax reporting and dispute resolution)
  • Payment Information: Not retained by Shukify; deleted by payment processor per PCI compliance
  • Marketing Information: Retained until you unsubscribe
  • Support Communications: Retained for 2 years for quality assurance and dispute resolution
  • Analytics Data: Retained for 24 months (then aggregated)
  • Vendor Performance Data: Retained for 3 years after vendor account closure

Upon request or account closure, we will delete your information within 30 days, except where:
